I know more about what they are doing than they do most of the time, and a damn-sight more than most of the admins who they are talking to. If you want to print the document to a PDF and then send that by email, you will need to do the intermediate print to PDF step and give it a name before attaching it as a file to an email. Modify the Title font style to hide your name at the top of a printed message. File-> Print-> Prints Options-> Page Setup. Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2016. And IT guys who try to talk down to you when you know something has changed make me angry. To change the printing font settings for the title/name field: Outlook 2007 and previous. But, thank god, they had a work around for that too, and used Image Capture from Microsoft to make that work. So any ideas on the fix? My IT guys think the "workaround" is adequate, but then again, they don't have my job, and I can guess they don't print many PDFs on a daily basis. It just keeps asking what program I want to assosciate with the print job (Adobe reader or Adobe Pro) and wont go any further unless I open it anyway, making the workaround I already figured out faster anyway. I tried creating a way to have the program running in the background so that I can print "invisibly" from the email side. So far, I have tried creating a rule in Outlook so I can batch print the attachments, with no luck since VB is not an allowed program. Yes, there are work arounds, such as saving the file to another location, opening it with Adobe Pro 9 from that location, and then printing (I figured that one out without the IT guys), but with 35 to 40 docs a day that need to be printed from the Outlook Email, this is now getting old. It worked on Friday, it didn't work on Monday. This sounds a lot like geek-speak for "I don't know". Our IT guys all say it is an "ADOBE interface problem with security updates to both Outlook and Adobe Pro 9". Not a review, not an attempt to load, not even an open document. I click PRINT (as I have a thousand times over the last year) and NOTHING HAPPENS. I right mouse click, get the usualy OPEN, PREVIEW, PRINT, SAVE AS menu. I recieve PDF attachments in Outlook that I need to print. Trying to resolve a simple "right mouse click" problem.
