They were raised to become exceptional future citizens to add value to society. Pupils used to live a very simple, cultured, and disciplined life. All were considered at par at the Gurukuls, and equal skills were taught to everyone without any bias. Gurukuls used to be teacher’s place where pupils also resided till their education got complete.
